The idea

You are not renting a room.
You are renting the estate.

Book here and you get the key to everything: house, park, ballroom, sports hall, pool. There are no other guests that week.

The house is let on a self-catering basis. You cook in the large kitchen, allocate the rooms yourselves and decide when to celebrate and when to sleep. Nobody clears up in between, nobody knocks. For many families that is exactly why they come back: there is no one else to accommodate.

The rent works out through the group. At 1,260 euros a week in the low season with thirty people, the base price is under fifty euros per person for seven nights. On top of that come electricity, water, heating oil and the final clean, all based on actual consumption.

The house is let exclusively through Novasol.

Three houses in one

Live, celebrate, move

The manor house spreads across three floors and an annexe. What a normal holiday home lacks is here in abundance: space you do not have to fill straight away.

Living

17 bedrooms, most of them over 20 m², nearly all with their own bathroom. Antique furniture, a double bed, a desk. 13 bathrooms in total, with shower or tub.

Celebrating

The “Gustav Vasa” hall measures 250 m² and has its own gallery. From there you step straight onto the lake terrace, where a barbecue area seats 36.

Moving

A 500 m² sports hall right next door, left over from the school years. The heated annexe holds a 32 m² pool, a Finnish sauna and a solarium.

1301 to today

In May 1945 the house was already set for demolition

The Red Army had everything ready. That the manor house still stands is down to the loud protest of the villagers, who placed themselves in front of it. Afterwards it housed refugees, and from 1951 a school. Children were taught here until the end of the 2004 school year.

The core dates from 1738. Its neoclassical face, with nine window bays and a hipped roof, arrived between 1812 and 1826 under the von Stülpnagel family. The semicircular lake terrace was added only in the 1920s, when a Berlin society hostess ran an artists’ salon here.

Who it suits

Large groups that want to stay together

  • Family reunions and milestone birthdays. Four generations under one roof, each with their own bathroom.
  • Weddings. The Uckerland registry office has a branch in the house; ceremonies take place one floor above the ballroom.
  • Company retreats and seminars. No entertainment programme, but Wi-Fi throughout the house and a sauna in the evening.
  • Theatre and choir weekends. The gallery above the hall is regularly used as a stage for rehearsals.
  • Riding groups. The Dörk stables next door take your own horses; rides start at the garden gate.
  • Sports groups and youth camps. Hall, pool and park in one place; separate deposit rules apply to youth groups.

The location

The Uckermark, without detours

Lübbenow lies between Pasewalk and Prenzlau, far enough from everything that you hear the cranes in the evening. The village church of 1515 is a three-minute walk away and, with its painted baroque cloud ceiling, counts as the most colourful in the Uckermark.

Prenzlau on Lake Unteruckersee is 25 kilometres away, Szczecin with its Chrobry Embankment about 45 minutes by car. If you would rather stay: a rowing boat for four waits at the shore, and fishing permits are available locally.

Availability

One week, one group

Popular dates in summer and around public holidays are often gone a year ahead; in spring and autumn weeks are still available at short notice.

The house is let exclusively through Novasol.
